PLEASE READ - CURRENT INFORMATION DURING COVID-19
Monday 29th June 2020
It had always been our intention to open the Beer Garden on Saturday July 4th, with meals, drinks, music and most importantly (socially distanced) catch-up amongst village friends. During the glorious sunny days of May we imagined a wonderful atmosphere as lockdown was eased and life returned to normal.
As much as we are looking forward to welcoming you all back, the reality of the current situation, the practicalities of the Government guidance, and the reminder that the weather on Dartmoor is not always on our side has led us to re-think our plans.
To avoid constant weather watching and altering of plans we have decided, reluctantly, to postpone opening until Tuesday 7th July. This will allow us a gradual and sensible re-opening strategy, with hopefully less headaches for us.
We have worked throughout Lockdown, and will continue to work hard this week to be ready for Tuesday. However, we have decided to remain closed to takeaways now until re-opening, as previously posted. We are very grateful to everyone who has bought takeaways from us during this period and helped to keep the bills paid.
To avoid this notice becoming any longer, we will post further details of re-opening as the week continues, we just wanted to make our intentions clear at this time.
Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement.
